I am writing as a long-time iClone user to express my sincere appreciation for the powerful tools your software provides—and to share a request that I believe would greatly benefit many artists in the community.
I would like to kindly ask you to consider developing a fast, reliable, and truly professional-grade native rendering engine for iClone. As much as I value the workflow integration with external applications, such as Unreal Engine, Maya, and Blender, relying on them for final rendering creates significant challenges.
Whenever I switch to Unreal for rendering, I inevitably end up maintaining two complete versions of every asset—characters, models, environments, and other project content. This duplication consumes valuable storage, adds unnecessary complexity, and slows down the production process. A more capable built-in renderer within iClone would eliminate this redundancy and allow artists to complete high-quality projects entirely inside the Reallusion ecosystem.
In addition, I hope that the ray tracing capabilities in iClone can be improved so that users like myself no longer feel compelled to switch software just for better visual output. Upgrading and optimizing the iRay plugin, in particular, to achieve significantly faster render times would be immensely helpful. I believe this would serve customers more effectively than expanding integrations with external platforms.
iClone is already a fantastic real-time animation tool, and giving users a robust, top-tier rendering solution directly within the software would elevate its value even further.
Thank you very much for your time, your continued innovation, and your consideration of this request.
