Project crashes on saving

The project I am working on crashes after soft cloth physics are applied. Through experimentation I have narrowed the problem down to SW_Mayday hair. I have tried several versions of the hair, uninstalled and reinstalled SW_Mayday hair. The "save" crashes even when the only soft physics is the hair. I can't find any undo memory loading.
