Adding an option to hide the mesh when taking thumbnail photos would eliminate the manual work when updating a lot of clothes/accessories, by removing the steps below:

1. show model
2. add new clothes
3. remove model
4. take thumbnail photo

If changing one mesh with multiple textures, or having to redo the clothing layering, it can be 20+ items that is changing, and every time it adds a new thumbnail with the model. If you try to change the clothes without the model present, it will mess with the mesh.
