Look At Feature Data Loss During Unreal Engine Live Link Recording (Take Recorder)
Hello Reallusion Support Team,
I am a professional 3D animation creator and a heavy user of iClone. I am writing to report a critical issue regarding the 'Look At' feature when recording via Unreal Engine Live Link.
[Issue Summary]
The 'Look At' animation applied to characters in iClone 8 is not being captured correctly when recorded through Unreal Engine's Take Recorder, despite appearing normal during the Live Link preview.
[Environment]
iClone Version: 8.65and 8.7 (Tested on multiple versions, same issue persists)
Unreal Engine Version: 5.6
Hardware: NVIDIA RTX 4090
[Detailed Symptoms]
I have set up a male and a female character in iClone. Both characters are using the 'Look At' feature to stare at each other.
During the active Live Link session, both characters correctly maintain their gaze in the Unreal Engine viewport.
However, after recording the sequence using Take Recorder, the resulting Level Sequence file shows a discrepancy:
Male Character: The 'Look At' animation is recorded successfully.
Female Character: The 'Look At' data is lost, and the character reverts to a default gaze (looking forward) in the recorded sequence.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate why this data is being dropped for specific characters during the Take Recording process and provide a solution or workaround as soon as possible.
Looking forward to your professional feedback.
Best regards,
