Issue 3506
FBX export "From within Iclone7" not working in Lightwave
None of the FBX settings in Iclone are working for Lightwave.
The Mesh seems to be backwards and stretched, plus Mesh is lying on it's side.
Also the extended mapped bones don't get recognized as bones (believe this is due to parent structure)

I tested an export from Exchange into Lightwave using FBX using the same character and the same motion and it worked.
I would appreciate this being addressed, as Lightwave is a major part of my work flow.
I need to be able to get stuff out of and back into Iclone from Lightwave.

The character I used in the above example is Toon Mouse (imported from Daz)
I placed a simple run loop on him and attempted to export.

This process worked only from Exchange.

I believe any character exported from Iclone will suffer the same issue as I tested on another character exported from within Iclone.

I list this as a bug, because you do show Lightwave as a compatible product as apposed to a request for something new.

The main problem with FBX exports from Lightwave (and exchange for that matter) is the mesh is not being placed at the top of the stack it is attached to the bottom of the hierarchy. In lightwave it must be at the top of the hierarchy. I can get it to work manually by moving the mesh to the top. But would be nice if corrected in Exporter so could move back and forth as needed...
