Hi oberdoofus,

iClone does not support compressed sound files,if you load the audio file in iClone v7.93,iClone will not crash, but import failed.

I also have crashes when importing .wav, even really small ones.

Hi
After a bit more research
The problem only happens with .wav files I tried to import into iClone - specifically those exported from Davinci Resolve 17

I recorded and exported the wav files in davinci resolve 17 (fairlight). Which produces best quality for me. I've tried all sorts of wav output settings - Linear PCM / IEEE - different bit depths - I can play them fine individually but they cannot be imported into iClone.

However
.m4a seems to be OK! - so I can work around it - which is a relief but am curious why davinci resolve .wavs don't work and if anyone has had same issue?
