Thank you for looking into this issue.

Yes, it was an HD character.

You suggested the following:

(In the meantime, as a workaround, we recommend that you first complete the eyelid setup and the "Correct Eyeblinking" process on a Standard Resolution character. Once the eyelids appear to be blinking correctly, you can then apply Subdivision to convert that character to HD.)

I tested this, and it works perfectly until this issue is resolved in a future update.

Thank you!

Best regards

Hi Arvind,

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.

Our QA team has tested this in version 5.07 and successfully reproduced the behavior you described. We found that the mesh distortion when using the "Correct Eyeblinking" feature currently occurs specifically on HD characters (characters with Subdivision applied).

Just to confirm, was the character you were using an HD character when this issue happened?

We have logged this regression bug and forwarded it to our development team for fixing in a future update.

In the meantime, as a workaround to bypass the distortion, we suggest temporarily lowering the character's Subdivision level to SubD 0 in the Modify panel. While at SubD 0, you can safely apply the eyelash and run the "Correct Eyeblinking" process. Once the blinking looks correct, you can then increase the Subdivision level back to SubD 2 (or your preferred level).

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention and helping us improve the software!

Best regards,
Kayla
