Issue 7798
Can you add an option to delete an element in mesh editing mode?
If it's not a huge amount of work, I think this would be very useful for non-3d modellers among your customers. Using simplified 3D modelling tools withing Unity, I spend a lot of time cutting out under layers of cloth meshes to prevent poke through when models are animated in games. Sometimes, though, there's a mesh inside another mesh that I can't get at and this often causes lower layers to poke through, making the clothing unusable. I've had this happen for clothes bought in the content store and elsewhere.

It seems like the element tool is much better at separating the various parts of a mesh since the update to 3.4, and it would be really handy to be able to delete problematic or unwanted elements.

P.S. Really liking 3.4 -keep up the good work!

+1 This would also solve the problem of hidden faces suddenly deciding to be visible again. Please let us remove geometry once and for all.
Also while deleting hidden faces, please make sure you also delete loose vertices
