I've just watched an official Reallusion video about draping Marvelous Design clothing on CC characters, for use in iClone. The video suggests at 00:46 that before export, it's a good idea to remove the arms from the character so that they don't interfere with the cloth draping. This is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT4MBcq1zYo
Sadly, none of my CC default characters allow me to do that. The button to delete faces do not show up. It works with static props, but not with rigged rigged figures it appears. Clearly it works for the presenter, but I guess the feature was either removed, or it's a bug. What's shown in the video is therefore impossible to achieve.
Hi,
The character in your image is a CC3+ character. Since CC3+ characters follow a fixed specification, editing the base mesh is not allowed.
If you want to delete mesh parts and still retain he's motion as a character you can save the character as an ActorBuild character first, and then proceed to delete the mesh like in the tutorial.
