Issue 10907
90% frame drop with Headshot 2.0 plugin installed.
Hello, I have seen my frame-rate drop drastically in viewpoint in CC4 after recently updating. I tried reinstalling and found that when the Headshot 2.0 the frames drop but while uninstalled the frame rate was fine. I'm currently just installing headshot when i need to use it and uninstalling when I am working on characters right now.

Close all tabs and tool bars when not in use and you will have more frame rate even than with Headshot not installed -works for iClone as well. If you want your final render speeds to increase, or baking soft cloth faster, additionally shrink your viewport to thumbnail size (close various tabs)

Lastly having double Virtual memory than your host ram and setting windows system priority of iClone or CC4 to high but not real-time will give you even greater speed.

I'm not Reallusion staff, just sharing my personal experience. I've reported this to the developers as well and hope we have presets to switch to that toggles the changes for export rendering, cloth/physics baking and real time render for optimal speed and performance. Most users have crashes in iC8/CC4 when their projects don't have enough ram/virtual ram, so I've suggested that they should have an option to either automatically change virtual memory settings to double their installed ram and ic8/cc4 system priority switched to high which seems to be optimal for both programs and offer stability. I first discovered this when rendering large projects with Indigo Renderer as well. These kinds of changes may be beneficial in other programs if you have similar problems.
