Shadow

The advanced shadow effect of iClone enables any object to cast or receive shadows within the scene. The most realistic shadow option, self casting shadows cast from actors and objects just like in real-life adding more realism to your environment.

In this case, we apply the setting as below:


Hint1: Use Self-Cast Shadow so that the plants are covered by the shadow Hint2: The less Blur Level, the more sharp the shadow Hint3: Increase Resolution to get clearer shadow. This is best used in a large scene. Hint4: Ambient Light will affect the brightness of the shadow

Hint5: The Cast Shadow and Receive Shadow of the plants must not be turned off

Wind

The strength of the wind will determine how hard the plants will sway. The more powerful the wind, the faster the speed and the wider the margin the plants will sway. You can use the strength of the wind to create a secluded pond or a stormy night.

Clock on the plants and you can adjust the strength of the wind in Modify.

Sun Beam

Sun Beam can vitalize the forest. You can rotate and scale these Sun Bean props provided in this pack and place them in your forest to bring it to life. The Sun Beam can be found in Total Plants-Biosphere Collection.
