After 2 days of ripping my hair out, I finally got it to work. Here's what I did. 1. Copy all the GoZ files from: C:\Program Files\Reallusion\Character Creator 4\Resource\ICGoZBrush\CharacterCreator 2. Paste them in: C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\CharacterCreator 3. Open "GoZ_Config.txt" (That should be in the "C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\CharacterCreator" folder by now) 4. Edit the first line (PATH = "***) to where your CC4 is installed. In my case: PATH = "C:\Program Files\Reallusion\Character Creator 4\Bin64\CharacterCreator.exe" 5. Open Zbrush, and here's the most important part: DO NOT REINSTALL GoZ!!! 6. DO NOT REINSTALL GoZ! 7. DO NOT REINSTALL GoZ!! 8. GoZ whatever subtool you're trying to send, and CC4 should open this time. Hope that helps everyone. Cheers!
i found the solution and it worked for me Copy all files from here: C:\Program Files\Reallusion\Character Creator 4\Resource\ICGoZBrush\CharacterCreator paste to here: C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\CharacterCreator and then go to zbrush preferences goz file path to cc4 but not specify the path again. check the 2nd option and it will work
Anybody found a solution because nothing suggested in this thread has worked yet.
Thank you for contacting Reallusion. Zbrush needs to be installed an run as administrator. If CC3 Pipeline will still not recognize it, you can try this manual instalation of the components. Force reinstall GoZ from Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush2020 (or whatever version you want to use)\Troubleshoot Help. Manually copy over all the GoZ files from Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\CharacterCreator to the character creator folder in Program Files\Reallusion\Character Creator 3\Resource\ICGoZBrush\CharacterCreator (Replace all the existing files with admin permissions. I recommend backing the files up first though, just to be safe.) The GoZ function in CC3 should work after a restart of the app. Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.
