Unique Shadow Settings per Light
Currently, users can only adjust shadows for ALL lights in the scene, not for each light individually.

If each light in a scene had its own unique Shadow Settings, this would allow for greater visual control. Example: a car or street light could cast harsh shadows (i.e., no blur) while other lights simulating like overcast skies or moonlight would cast soft shadows (high blur).

This limitation is incredibly frustrating when it comes to the Bias and Shadow Range settings. In a complex scene, with many lights and objects, it's nearly impossible to find the right value for the Bias and Shadow Range settings that don't reveal distracting issues like some objects with correct shadows and others with floating shadows.

Blender, for example, allows for each light to be customized with all of the Light and Shadow settings found in iClone (and more). So individual lights can have its own Shadow resolution, Samples, Bias, etc.

I know the visuals is global but you can also adjust each lights shadows on its own in the scenes tab, lights when you select a light you can modify its shadows. creating invisible lights also to create extra shadows works great to. I have never had any issues with shadows in iclone. I actually find that there is good control of shadows. I like that you can adjust the shadow resolution for each light also up to 4090x 4090. Check out some of these videos the first 2 are actually iclone shadow tests renders I did. I have created over 150 iclone animation and never had any issues with shadows. Its just a matter of knowing how to adjust everything from the ambient occlusion, the lights globally and individually and there shadows. Anyway I have never really run into any issues with shadows the only problem i had was learning where and how to control all the shadows. I use over 40 animation programs and most of the time its nothing more then just figuring out how and where the controls are to do what you need to do. Anyway this is just my 2 cents and hope artman009 can work it out.

This video has lots of invisible lights casting custom shadows.

This is a shadow test rendering I did, it has major shadow control in it.

Take a very careful look at what happens when you make any changes to the shadow settings in the Visual Tab.

The settings are GLOBAL settings, and affect each and every light in the scene. Simple test, select one light in any default project and make changes to the shadow settings. Now select a second light and look at the settings there - Bingo!

Just wondering did you try the visuals tab, and hit the shadow icon up top and adjust shadows? you can also adjust the resolution and settings of each lights shadows, up to 4090x4090! You can also go to the scene tab, select a light and adjust shadow settings and resolution for each light. Knowing where all the settings are helps a lot.
