Unexpected results when loading the Appearence Editor for PBR materials
Load one of the Default PBR characters.

With an item selected in the Appearance tab load the Appearance Editor. The material appearance is not consistent between the default state and when "Clear" or "Keep" are selected in the "Override" window.

Attached are screen shots showing the Jeans and Skin on the Base Male (PBR) in "Default" state, when "Clear" is selected and when "Keep" is selected.

Same here - Using latest version of CC (v2.0.1710.1)
Open Base Male (PBR) - looks ok.
Select Jeans - Then when pressing the 'activate appearance editor', the character material setting change, altering the appearance of the jeans (images attached).

This *MIGHT* be caused by the character being partially PBR and partially not.

Here is a relevant conversation between myself and Rampa: http://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost309408.aspx

Since Teeth and Eyes are PBR-ready, and behave as-expected, hopefully all that is required is for Reallusion to finish updating the character's materials.

Confirmed.

I really wish you could attach pictures to Comments, in addition to the original post.
Here is a Forum post with a couple of pictures: http://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost309402.aspx

SIMPLE STEPS:
1) Open the default project (the "nude lady" works fine)
2) On the MODFY panel, go to the APPEARANCE tab
3) Activate Appearance Editor
4) Select the "CLEAR" option for unused channels
5) Avatar will become shiny

EXTRA STEPS:
6) Click on the MATERIAL tab
7) Notice the Metallic and Roughness channels have been REMOVED from the SKIN materials (body, head)
8) Notice the Metallic and Roughness channels remain on the Teeth and Eye materials

Actually, Metallic and Roughness is removed from everything except Lower Teeth, Eye, and Cornea materials.

MORE EXTRA STEPS:
9) Repeat the steps above, but select "KEEP" in Step #4
10) Notice the all the materials have the Metallic and Roughness channels

DESIRED RESULTS:
Keep the Metallic and Roughness channels for *all* the materials, not just the eyes and teeth, even when you pick the "CLEAR" option in Step #4.
