Suggestions to create hair in Character Creator 3
I still want to suggest two important changes to Character Creator 3. The first suggestion would be to partner with the hair-generating plugins (yeti, ornatrix, xgen ...) to launch a plugin for CC. So we could model professional hair in the CC, because the hair created in Maya with these plugins can not be exported to be used in the CC, unless they are converted into polygonal mesh (which is quite complicated). Another option would be to create the own hair tool (it could be a polygonal hair creator - ornatrix has this option and it's very interesting) or else, if all that was suggested above can not be implemented, I suggest at least launching packs of high-quality polygonal hair, but with the possibility of customizing some details through sliders (for example, a slider can make the fringe longer or shorter, combed to the side or straight, change the overall length of hair, etc.). Using the ready-made hair you sell in packs is not a very professional option, since anyone can use it, and there the same hair would appear in several projects. The customization allows to create unique personalized hair, which would solve the problem of not having a hair generator in the CC. Finally, the second suggestion would be to be able to select certain faces of the 3D object and apply a new material on the selected faces, it would not be uvmap, it would just add an extra material as needed, without resorting to other programs for this. Going back and forth several times to modeling programs like maya just to make some adjustments is stressful.
