Morph Sliders in Iclone
This is really a sticking point for me and a lot of other users, I think. It's time to give us access to our morphs. You allow morph sliders in the Character Creator, but not in Iclone. I think it's time that you stopped cutting us off from morphs in Iclone. There's no reason for it. You allow us to import the morphs, but then you don't allow us to activate them without doing something counter intuitive like attaching them to facial puppet custom controls in the face puppet. Give us a Tab in Iclone where you can access the selected figure's morphs --especially if it's a custom character you've imported to Iclone. The way things are, I can import a character with normal teeth and move it around, but if I want their teeth to slowly become vampire teeth, there's no way to keyframe it even if I have the morph created without doing a lot of workarounds to get there. Having access to my figure's morphs makes all of that easy and accessible. Stop cutting us off from the figure morphs, and give us the morph slider in Iclone --not just 3D Exchange and Character Creator.

Hi will2power71,

Thank you very much for your feedback!

We are planning to add the functionality you are requesting as the new feature in iClone 7, please stay tuned for further information later.

Just the ability to morph from one CC character to another you create in CC would be sufficient.

I don't understand the thought process behind not giving access to them in Iclone. 3DXchange will let you add and import morphs all day long. If you have them -you should have complete access to them. In every other 3D Application, I have full access to the bones and morphs of whatever figure I'm working with. I don't see the reasoning behind not allowing people access to their morphs.

Morph dials with key frame PER body part, or at least PER body and face region would be great.

Imported Morph Dials in 3DX6 to have direct access within iClone, as a totally new Modify>SubCategory Button with FBM/PBM dials, would be really cool.

As....

Modify > Morphs (will include morph dials from head to toe)

Click to open a new panel, un/dockable, with collapse-able FBM or PBM hierarchy. Similar to Daz studio or CC, which users have become accustomed to.

Ability to add new morph dials to this panel, as in LOCAL/ ICLONE generated morphs.

Morph dials without VISUAL INDICATOR is also same old unintuitive working blind. So please include automatic thumbnail generation for morph dials (or at last for save-able to library dialed morph presets)

But don't have to stop there... having imported morph dials open up other iClone legacy tool potentials!

Imported morph dials can also be worked into existing Direct Puppet as well as Edit Motion Layer!

I thinking about... a Direct Puppet style "DIRECT MORPH"

Procedurally, dynamically audition morph state using morph sliders... like Direct Puppet...

In a typical imported FBM workflow, MASKING of body parts will generate PBM morph animation on unmasked body parts, to give PBM animation...

Body Part masking needs updating too - to allow finer division of body parts.

Same for keyframing morph dials - via renovated Edit Motion Layer.

Thanks for considering all these.

Until we get morph sliders in iClone - here is an example, how I use my morphs in iClone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCIQOARlRI8

I have loaded the morphs in 3dXchange and activated them with the expression editor -> custom.

Here is an little tutorial for using the morphs in iClone: http://virtualworldsart.com/iClone/morph_animation_slider.pdf

Have a nice time
