Memory is running out

Hi guys - since yesterday morning, I can't edit the voice track with the lipsync easily. The voice runs on, but the face stays immobile. This makes it really hard to see where I am with the lipsync of course. Is there something I can do? Have tried cleaning up drives etc but have no idea why it's doing this now, whereas before I could scrub back and forth and each syllable would enunciate with the mouth moving.

I was looking to blame a Windows update, but the last one was on the 15th or so.
