Dear Reallusion Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue with project file thumbnails that occurred after I upgraded from Character Creator 4 to Character Creator 5.

Following the uninstallation of CC4 and the installation of CC5, I have found that all new projects saved in CC5 only display the default CC logo as their thumbnail in Windows File Explorer, rather than a preview of the character. Furthermore, when I open and resave older project files originally created in CC4, they also lose their character thumbnail and now only show the logo.

This indicates that CC5 is no longer embedding a scene preview into the project files upon saving. I have already attempted various troubleshooting steps on my end, such as checking Windows file associations and clearing the application cache, but the issue persists.

As this functionality worked correctly in CC4, I believe this may be an unforeseen issue with the latest version. Could you please advise if there is a known solution for this problem?
