Issue 7923
FBX- and GoZ-exported characters feet float above origin, where OBJ seems to be fine.
Steps to reproduce FBX issue:
1. Create a new project.
2. Export character as FBX (I tested with Maya preset) and again as OBJ with current pose.
3. Open both in a DCC.

Steps to reproduce GoZ issue:
1. Create a new project.
2. GoZ export the character.
3. Append a new subtool and import the OBJ-exported character.

Expected result:
Both characters are aligned.

Actual result:
The FBX- and GoZ-exported character float above origin while the OBJ character is fine.

Hi,
[Export FBX - the feet float above origin ]
This is current program status, it is caused for the best mesh symmetrical.
You can see the details from this forum post:
https://forum.reallusion.com/451561/13-Known-Issue-Special-Notice-Character-Symmetry-for-OBJ-FBX-Export

Can you provide the more description about the problem you encountered when the feet float above ground?

[OBJ with current pose]

This export does not have the ability to back to CC, it is not executed the release-HIK rigging.
So you can get the feet keeps original position (not float above the ground)

Thank you,
Joanne

Just found this other issue from last year which seems to be about the same problem: https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/Please-make-all-CC3-characters-like-CC3-Jody
