Product:
Cartoon Animator 4
Version:
4.11
Status:
Not Reproducible
Issue 6765
Editing character in PhotoShop messes up the 360 head setup.
New project.
Double click om character for instance Philipp_F.
Go to Composer mode.
Launch PSD editor, head and body in separate files, update multi-angle, quality 10.
(In my case PhotoShop v.20.0.4 Mac)
Make a small change in the head so that the file is forced to save on closing.
For example, dilate the stubble layer
Close and safe the (head) file.
As you can see now in CTA4 in the 360 head creator, the layers are not replaced properly
See attached files.
Furthermore the result is different each time I try!
OS: Mac OS 10.15

This is a familiar issue and one of the most annoying ones. The PSD editor round trip the way it is has always been wonky - for me anyway. I'm also on macOS (Catalina). The challenge is: it is not consistently reproducible, in that it works sometimes for some characters and in some cases but you can never tell when it does.
