Current CTA3 projects are limited to a maximum of 30 frames per second. This can make it difficult to seamlessly and smoothly integrate animated footage with other types of footage that use a higher frame rate, or to get a smooth slow motion effect when taking exported footage into an external video editor.

A higher maximum custom frame rate would be very useful in allowing a greater flexibility for what can be done with CTA animations. Suggested project frame rate options:

- 120/100fps (NTSC/PAL) - Useful for allowing clips to play back smoothly in slow motion

- 60/50fps (NTSC/PAL) - Useful for slow motion in 30/25/24fps projects, or for integrating with 60/50fps (NTSC/PAL) footage for high definition, high frame rate YouTube video
