Step 1: From iClone to external 3D tools

Required version: 3DXchaneg5 PRO and above
You are suggested to export characters in OBJ/FBX format, and then you can use the external sculpting and painting tool to enrich your model with detailed textures or morphing effects.

Step 2: From external 3D tools to iClone

Required version: 3DXchaneg5 Pipeline and above
Once you finish the design in the external tools like Photoshop and ZBrush, you may simply bring it back in OBJ or JPG formats. You may even consider create morph target for iClone characters.

Below are some examples on how to import, and export, human character between iClone and other tools.
