Issue 387
Conform...
The HIDE INNER MESH option is exactly what is needed, but it doesn't work.

Either it is broken completely, or it doesn't work in this situation, but in either case the concept is great, it just needs fixing and/or improvement.

Using a standard character with a standard dress (not custom-made, both from Reallusion), the default offset is way too large, and "conforming" the cloth gives great-looking results, but only in the T-Pose.

When the arms go down, skin shows through the cloth. No amount of "subdivision" or "iterations" seems to help.

Here is a thread in the iClone Character Creator forum with more details and pictures:
http://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost282699.aspx

I can provide detailed step-by-step instructions to duplicate this, if needed.

P.S.
For the white dress, it's almost like the dress is off-center. After conforming, there is a gap on her left, and show-through on her right, as if the dress shifted to the left. I'll let you figure out the details.

Thank you very much for your attention.

If you execute "Auto Hide Mesh" function in Character Creator 1, the default hide mesh settings will be overwrote. If you would like to restore the hide mesh settings, please execute "Resume Content Settings" function in the same panel. For further details, please refer to screenshot Issue 387_1.

Hi Tesira,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

We've received the project your sent and reproduced it in iClone 6. In order for you to track the issue you mentioned, could you please submit a feedback in iClone 6 channel?

Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with hiding mesh until now.

I have worn the reallusion pants, have made them a little bit shorter.
Hide mesh is activated at the pants and also at the body.
The result you can see here: http://forum.reallusion.com/291008/OFFICIAL-iClone-65-Issues-Thread?PageIndex=13#bm293087

At the risk of being a bit obsessed by this at the moment, I made an observation in the CC User Manual.
In the manual, "Hide Mesh" saves the day, at least until you study the pictures more closely.

I documented it here, complete with pictures:

I figured a developer who works on this might want to share notes with whoever it was that wrote the manual.

Extended "discussion" should probably take place in the forum.

It might also be an idea to have the possibility for us to submit sample projects that show the problem. That will sometimes be more effective than describing steps. We used this approach quite effectively during the early stages of debugging iClone 6. It will also show if a problem is due to a specific graphics card configuration.
