Combining L2 Structure and L2 Structure with Link Feature

Combining the dummies from the L2 Structure category is simple. By using the Link Object feature of the physics control, the dummies can be combined together. The Link Object feature in the advanced panel is different from the Link feature for animation found in the modify panel to the right of your stage. In addition, you can use the Constraint >> Pick Target feature in the Constraint Settings panel (Shortcut: Shift + F10) to connect props in a different way.

In this section, you will learn how to compose a bulldozer by applying different dummies.

1. Apply the Tank A dummy from the Physics Toolbox > L2 Structure category.
   
2. Also apply the Dozer dummy from the L2 Structure category. Position it on the front side of the Tank A.
   
   Please note that these two dummies are independent entities at this time.
3. Select the Dozer dummy and open the Advanced Panel of its physics control.
   
4. Click on the Link Object button and then click on the Tank A dummy.
   
5. The dozer is then mounted to the tank track. You may then play to simulate the result.
