Sharing Projects to an iOS Device (New for 7.3)

Once a project is downloaded to an iOS device such as an iPhone, iPods touch, iPad, or iPad mini, you may then puppet your actor with the customized Idle Motion and Auto Motion, and interact with it by using the free CrazyTalk app.

Previewing Projects before Uploading

In the preview process below, you may optionally assign a specific idle motion to your actor when the project is idling, or a unique auto motion for the actor to respond to when given audio data.

  1. Click the Export button. In the Export Settings panel, switch to the Share tab.
  2. Click the Show Content Manager button to switch to the Content Manager and Auto Motion libraries.
    Note:

You may click the Idle Motion or Auto Motion field to directly switch to the Idle Motion or Auto Motion library.

  3. Optionally drag and drop a desired Idle Motion anywhere inside the Export Settings panel so that you can have a unique idle motion for the actor when the project is idling. (Please refer to the last section of this page for the Benefits of Adding Extra Idle and Auto Motions.)
  4. Optionally drag and drop a desired Auto Motion anywhere inside the Export Settings panel so that you can have a unique auto motion for the actor to respond to when given audio data. (Please refer to the last section of this page for the Benefits of Adding Extra Idle and Auto Motions.)
  5. The corresponding box will then be automatically checked and show the name of the content. When uploading, you may decide whether to include the chosen contents by enabling or disabling the checkbox.
    Note:

Please note that there is no defined Idle Motion and Auto Motion until the project is downloaded to your iOS device.

  6. Choose the playback length by typing the range in the fields or directly dragging the red triangles on the Play Bar. The maximum length of each project is 30 seconds (30 frames per 1 second).
  7. Preview your project before sharing to an iOS device. Check the iPhone display area box and drag to adjust the view port area for better viewing later in an iOS device. Playback to view the project.

The display area is designed based on an iPhone 5 device, which will be a bit wider at both sides when the project is downloaded to an iPhone 4S, iPod Touch, iPad or iPad Mini.

The original display area can only show a partial background image.

Drag the cursor to the left to reveal the entire background image.

Before adjusting the display area, part of the background image is cut off.

After adjusting the display area, the entire background image is now shown.
