Applying Idle Motion

You can apply corresponding idle motions to reflect the moods in the Auto Motion track, where the animation of the voice clip is transitioning into the next one. Remember that the contestant feels sad at his first try and he is encouraged by the host in the sample script.

  1. Double-click on the default idle motion between the two voice clips. The Content Manager will then switch to the Auto Motion >> 03_Idle library.
  2. Select the Sad template from the library to generate the transition effect.
  3. The default idle motion is changed in the Auto Motion track. Optionally, You may drag the latter Auto Motion clip farther or closer to the former one, in order to increase or decrease the length of the idle motion.
  4. Playback the project to observe the transition effect.

The actor moves with the original idle motion when he is asked by the host to start over.

After applying the idle motion, the actor appears sad when he moves.

    Note:
If you wish to remove the transition effect of the applied idle motion, then drag the play head to the idle motion, and double-click the "_Blank" template in the Idle library. The applied idle motion will then be replaced with a blank one clear of any motion.
