Moving the Actor around

In CrazyTalk Pro, you may set keys to animate the actor around the screen, change directions or even create a distance from the screen.

Setting Transform keys

Transform keys can be used to control actor movements especially when the actor comes into, or goes out of the scene. The four buttons on the left-side Tool bar can help you relocate the actor's position at any time frame inside the Transformation track. In the sample project, the actor is supposed to go up to the stage.

Setting a Start Position

  1. A model is set at the central position with its original scale in the preview window, by default.
  2. Press the "," button to go back to the first time frame. Press the Move button (Shortcut: M) and drag the model to the right of the scene. A starting position will then be set in the Transformation track.

Defining a Moving Destination

  1. Drag the play head to the desired time frame for the end destination, then click the Home button (Shortcut: Home) to set the actor back to the default center.
  2. A new key will then be added into the Transformation track and the transition effect between the two keys will be auto-generated.

Creating a Distance

  1. Click to highlight the Transform key you have set in the first time frame. Press the Scale button (Shortcut: S) and drag the actor downward to scale the size.
  2. Set other transform keys between the start and end time frames in order to create ups and downs within the movement. Press the Move button (Shortcut: M) and drag the model a up or down.
    Note:
To increase/decrease the speed of the transition animation between two adjacent keys, you may drag to re-arrange the keys closer/farther to each other.
  3. Playback and the actor will start to move closer and closer to you, from the right side to the very center of the scene as its size is enlarged in the transition process.
