Applying Scenario Templates

Animate the actor to the beat of the music by applying a scenario template. Then view the motion pattern in the preview window.

Applying Scenario Templates from the Library

Remember that the actor in the sample project is supposed to be nervous when he is introduced to the stage.

  1. Load an audio clip and select Listen Mode for the default auto motion when listening to the music and lip-syncing is not necessary.
  2. Click the Timeline button (Shortcut: Windows - F3; Mac - fn + F3) to access the Timeline panel. The audio clip is stored in the Viseme track with its audio waves in the Voice track as well as the auto motion which was automatically generated in the Auto Motion track. Drag the clip to a desired time frame.
  3. Switch the Content Manager to Auto Motion >> 02_Scenario, then double-click on the 01_Talk >> Shy template from the Scenario Library to change the motion pattern.
  4. Note:
    • In order to get more templates for the libraries, you may freely download and install the bonus pack from the official web site.
    • All scenario libraries are designed for Talk Mode except the Reaction Library. If you choose any template that is for Talk Mode, its better to double-click on the clip and switch the Auto Motion back to Listen Mode in the Mode Setting section under the Global tab of the Auto Motion Settings panel.
  5. The actor will then be animated to the given motion pattern with his head moving along to the beats. Refer to the sections below to add special facial expressions or body movements to enhance the animation if necessary.
