Adjusting the Strength (New for 7.3)

After Motion Clips or Puppet Clips are applied to an actor, you can adjust the strength of these motion clips to create more exaggerated expressions for your character, or create moderate expressions for real human actors.

  1. Click the Timeline button (Shortcut: Windows - F3; Mac - fn + F3) to access the Timeline panel.
  2. Locate the motion clip. Drag the horizontal yellow line across the entire motion clip to increase the strength of head nodding in the example.
    Note:
    • For the ease of adjustment within the confined space of the clip, you can also drag the horizontal line up/down within two times the height of the motion clip.
A percentage value will be displayed when dragging the line up/down over the timeline.
The higher the value, the stronger the motion strength you will get and vice versa.
    • Alternatively, you may right-click on the motion clip and select the Strength command to modify the motion strength.
  3. The actor will then do a more exaggerated nod when speaking.

    Clip Strength = 50

    Clip Strength = 100
