Basic Settings

In order to produce the best result in CrazyTalk Animator for content exported from DrawPlus, it is highly recommended that you adjust the basic settings in DrawPlus as described below:

Project Type

New Project

When you begin a new project, please remember to select the Keyframe Animation setting, because the Keyframe Animation projects are able to export most media files that are supported by CrazyTalk Animator:

Click the button to new project.

Use the main menu to new project.

Existing Project

If your project is not produced using the Keyframe Animation setting, please go to File >> Convert to Keyframe Animation in the main menu.

Note:

  • If you want to export images (*.PNG, *.BMP...), video and SWF (static, animated) files, then set your work file to Keyframe Animation in order to export these three types of media.

Frame Rate

You may need to set the frame rate of your project in DrawPlus to the same number as in  CrazyTalk Animator in order to produce a consistent playback result in both applications.

  1. Click the Page Setup button.
(You may also go to File >> Page Setup to open the Kayframe Animation Page Setup panel.)
  2. Set the Frame Rate to 30 by dragging the slider.

Flash Bitmap Quality

The Flash Bitmap Quality determines the size of the exported SWF files, especially when there are image objects in a project. The higher the value is, the larger the size of the SWF file; and vice versa.

The recommended value is 85 (or above).
