Is Iray supposed to be compatible with SpeedTree?
I notice that normal maps are not applied in the render and in some cases Alpha maps for some leaves.

Generally trees and grass (I did not test the grass at this time) are very expensive when it comes to Exporting a scene.
If it is not optimized further by RL devs, then it would be hard to export a scene with a lot of greens.

Would be interested to use an Iray map-baking tool for iClone, where you could render any iClone scene using iClone's Iray plugin, and then those full-scene rendered maps would be auto-applied to the scene's diffuse channels via an automated conversion process.

1. We need more control over resetting Iray materials. Currently there is only one button, which resets ALL materials for the object without confirmation (slide 1). The "Auto" in MDL popup can do the job for individual materials as well, but require a few extra clicks.

THE PROBLEM:
If you stop a multi-frame batch render for any reason, including a failure, there is no convenient way to resume the render without re-rendering the frames that had already been completed. You need to manually move those files to another folder, and then put them back later....More

While Quality control may not be much useful for stills rendering, it might be quite valuable for rendering animations. Preset samples count for the entire export batch maybe too much for rendering specific frames in the animation sequence. Quality control might help to arbitrary lower samples...More

When you do an "Export MI Scene," the setting for "Denoise Start Iteration" is conspicuously absent. You have to go find it on another panel.
