When you want to reproduce a real face or body, it's easier to have reference photos like front, profile, that we can overlay with transparency.
For example I have a photo of me (in front) and I would see it when my model in CC is in front. Of course many photos could be added, under other...More

- The scene Needs to have the IBL Sky Showing Off
The issue is the default IBL Sky is really irritating on the eyes. You folks have changed the background color to a nice darker grey in the scene with IBL Sky not showing so why not start...More

It is a known issue with soft shadow, spot lights and spot shadows, where beam falling under blunt angle creates striped artifacts (there is an FT entry for iClone for this matter).
But having this on a default project does not look good at all (see the screenshot)
Please change spot light...More

On the Cloth Layer settings when you go to drag layers to sort orders, there is no way to expand that window horizontally (you can vertically) and this is a real issue when your layers have longer names that can be listed (I could only sort layers by trial and error since even the yellow layer...More

About half the time Daz clothing comes in needing two sided materials (just due to the way devs construct clothing). Sometimes it's obvious (and I'll put a link to one where it is) but other times you don't notice it unless you look closely at the underside of a collar, or the cuff on a long...More

A lot of Daz clothing has a TON of materials which all share the same UV mapping and same maps. You can collapse all these materials into the same without altering the maps or UVs, and this can usually eliminate about 90% of those materials (making it much easier to edit and/or change).
This...More

The merging UV's by different types that is in the InstaLOD would be nice to have for use on non-export characters. Characters brought in through the Transformer can have a lot of materials. The Hivewire characters have separate body materials for torso, arms, and legs. Being able to combine...More

I have a Blender plug-in that loads in the Daz FBX file and creates the ini file needed by CC3 automagically (you don't alter the FBX file in anyway -- so you don't have to export it out from Blender again, just run it to generate the ini file. It also generates all the folders and maps needed...More

Currently with Transformer, you can import a Daz character with one set of Diffuse textures per single face, arm, leg, and torso body part.
However, most Daz characters have >1 variant texture sets for face, arm, leg, and body in the Daz character's material folder.
(Ie with and without...More
