Not quite sure how to sum it up, but basically any character with a skirt or dress, when you remesh it in the avatar export, you end up with the item all messed up.
Here's a small example -- take this into Transformer, then export via the avatar and choose remesh and with ANY options there...More

Pretty well says it all -- I export an avatar (with or without remeshing) and the weight maps don't export with it. Now -- this is a HUGE issue if I DO remesh -- so I'm also combining that as a problem here (does this mean that you can't have cloth physics on remeshed avatars? If so, that...More

When you bring in a character and clothing through Transformer it would be nice if we had some ability to set the presets for both Bake Texture Quality (for the Avatar body textures) and the Maximum size of the clothing layers. Currently those are set for "Normal" and "1024" respectively....More

A lot of Daz clothing has a TON of materials which all share the same UV mapping and same maps. You can collapse all these materials into the same without altering the maps or UVs, and this can usually eliminate about 90% of those materials (making it much easier to edit and/or change).

Not really a *bug* per se, but he IS a Daz official shape (from Genesis 8), with many, many third party characters based on him, so it would be nice if he were supported.

I have a Blender plug-in that loads in the Daz FBX file and creates the ini file needed by CC3 automagically (you don't alter the FBX file in anyway -- so you don't have to export it out from Blender again, just run it to generate the ini file. The devs already know that a bump map coming in from Daz (or anywhere, really) needs to be turned down (and on the "Import All Textures" routine they have a file where they save the bump strength settings, among other things, and by default it's at 15 or so). For the ini file that loads in...More
