The Information We Collect and Process

The LIVE FACE app uses Apple's TrueDepth camera system and ARKit to track a user's facial expressions for real-time facial animation. To provide this functionality, the app requires access to the device camera.

The facial data processed by LIVE FACE may include camera images, depth information, facial tracking data, facial expression coefficients, facial feature positions, head pose, and other facial tracking information provided by Apple's TrueDepth and ARKit APIs.

LIVE FACE does not access or collect Face ID authentication data and does not use facial data to identify or authenticate users.

How We Use Face Data

Face data is used solely to provide the core functionality of LIVE FACE, including tracking facial expressions and transmitting facial animation data to compatible Reallusion applications for real-time character facial animation.

LIVE FACE may connect to compatible Reallusion applications over the user's local network to transmit facial tracking and animation data.

Face data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics, user identification, or any purpose unrelated to the core facial animation functionality of LIVE FACE.

Face Data Sharing and Disclosure

Reallusion does not sell, rent, share, or disclose face data collected or processed by LIVE FACE to third parties.

Face data is not uploaded to or processed by Reallusion servers. Facial tracking information used for animation is processed locally on the user's device and may be transmitted over the user's local network only to compatible Reallusion applications selected by the user for real-time facial animation.

Face Data Storage and Retention

Reallusion does not store or retain camera images, depth data, or other face data captured or processed through Apple's TrueDepth camera on Reallusion servers.

Face data used for real-time tracking is processed only as necessary during an active LIVE FACE session and is not retained by Reallusion after the session ends.

If a user chooses to record or save facial animation through a compatible Reallusion application, the resulting animation or project files are created and stored under the user's control. Reallusion does not separately retain the underlying TrueDepth face data used to generate that animation.

Face Data Deletion

Because Reallusion does not retain TrueDepth face data on its servers, there is normally no stored face data held by Reallusion that requires deletion.

Any animation or project files intentionally saved by the user remain under the user's control and may be deleted by the user through the applicable Reallusion application or from the storage location where the files were saved.

How to Revoke Consent

Users may stop the collection and processing of face data at any time by stopping the LIVE FACE session or closing the application.

Users may also revoke LIVE FACE's access to the camera through the Privacy & Security settings on their iOS device. Once camera permission is revoked, LIVE FACE will no longer be able to access the TrueDepth camera or process facial tracking data.

Users may also uninstall LIVE FACE from their device to discontinue use of the application.
