4) Backing up your software

We recommended that you make a back up of your downloaded software as soon as possible. This of course will be easier if you have access to a CD burner, a Zip drive or if you work in a network environment. However, you can also use the backup tools on your system.

In Windows look in the Start Menu --> Programs accessories --> System tools --> Backup. Using this tool you can create a backup and copy it on diskettes, on a different drive or on a different location in your local network. Please remember that use of the backup copy of your software is subject to the terms of the license agreement.

5) Installing your software

If you try to run the program and it says the file was corrupt, don't panic! During a download there will occasionally be instances where the files get corrupted. This could be due to static on the phone line or other interruptions. Unfortunately there is not a way to correct the damaged files. All that is needed normally is to download the product again, and run it.

If you find you a problem installing or running the program after downloading, please check the system requirements and make sure your system is capable of running this program. If you meet these requirements and the problem persists, please contact support@reallusion.com for further assistance.

6) Activating your software

Reallusion software products require online product activation. Product activation works by verifying that a software program's serial number, which you must use in order to install the product, has not been used on more personal computers than intended by the software's license. At this time we are unable to provide telephone based activation.
