If you want to get good result of Horse Pack , please check Pixel shader and Bump in perference , If you find the performence is not good, please switch texture to 1024x1024 , or reduce to 512 x512.

You can select Quick Shader in the Preference panel and turn off Anti-aliasing to increase performance.

Note : When you select Quick Shader, the material effects will not display in the preview window.

3) I select no "Anti-aliased" during the preview and creation for increasing speed performance. Will it cause my final rendering lower quality?

In fact, no matter you check on/off Anti-aliased in preference, it will not effect your render result. The preference for Anti-aliased only controls the real-time visual output, not the final rendered file.

If you want to confirm your export quality with Anti-alias , please check the check box in exporter page.

Render quality and shader options

You can set render quality and shader options in the Preference pane. iClone 1.5 supports two levels of shader for real-time rendering: Quick Shader and Pixel Shader.

iClone 1.5 automatically detects the 3D graphics card installed in the PC and provides available Quality options. The Quality setting is dependent on the 3D graphics card installed on the PC. For example, with Nvidia 7x00 series or ATI Radeon 9x00, users can select High, Middle, Low and Custom render settings. However, with older 3D graphics card such as Geforce4 MX that do not support shader model 1.0, users can only select Low and Custom options. The new Pixel Shader function will be disabled if the requirement is not met.

The Quick Shader produces the same image quality as iClone 1.0.

The Pixel Shader takes advantage of shader model 1.0 and has options including: Reflection, Bump and Glow. Turning these options on increases the visual quality but consumes additional system resources. Refer to Performance Issue and Tuning for more details on optimizing your working environment.

4) It's so slow when I render video.

If your graphics card does not support shader 1.0, we suggest you to switch to Quick Shader in preference.

5) Rendering video takes a very long period of time.

If you find your PC is overloaded while rendering, try reducing texture size in Preferences.
