What is the length for an iClone project?
The length of an iClone animation should be under 5
minutes (18000 frames) for Studio/Standard version.
If you're using the voice function, the length for
voice recording is limited under 5 minutes for iClone
Studio/Standard, and 30 seconds for Trial version.
For your information, you can use PC microphone to
record your voice. iClone will automatically lip-sync
the audio with facial animation for your character.

I can't export video file in WMV format.
Please install DirectX 9 and WMEncoder 9 at first from
the Microsoft site.

The mpeg 4 music files exported for mobile products
seem to play faster when I play it on the PC.
Please use the latest Real player to play it. Otherwise,
it will be correct in second times in some player.

My gif file will flicker in the image browser software.
You can drag this gif file to web browser. It's correct
in web page. But in some image browser, it looks flicker.

iClone stops me from rendering a big file, but I have
enough disk space.
iClone can export video file of 2 GB. If iClone shows
the message and stops you from rendering, it is possible
that you lack main memory.
Please close other programs and try it again or upgrade
your hardware.

How can I get better quality results with mobile 3gp
or Mpeg output?
We suggest you use default parameters when you use mobile
output. If you want to get a higher quality result,
click the advanced tab and select custom. You can raise
video or audio bitrate to enhance quality.

If I select MMS export, when I switch size I lose the
image I selected.
(If I select MMS export, I lose the image I selected
when switching size)
You must select the size first before exporting in MMS
format.

Why can't I key in custom sizes in RM and MPEG-4 for
PC export?
If you want to export to RM or MPEG-4 for PC file, please
key in the size in the multiple of 4; otherwise iClone
will re-adjust the size to its closest proportions.

There is an obvious difference between export and estimated
file size?
Estimated file size will be influenced by camera and
other 3D scene complexity. It is just only for reference.

When I use gif with transparency on, there are some
light gray spots around the image.
iClone uses sharp effects in a gif image, so there could
be light gray spots around the gif image .
If you want to publish a file on the web, we suggest
you can assign the same background color in iClone as
your web page.
Then you can resolve this problem.

Please uncheck your render area in 3D Window tool.

The exported WMV files don't playback correctly.
It is because of the display card support issue. Please
play back the file on another PC with display card of
other brands.

My media player crashes when I play back the AVI files
exported by iClone. What shall I do?
If you choose the dimension unsupported by the codec,
such as MPEG1 codec for the AVI DVD format, your media
play crashes. Please make sure that the codec you choose
is supported by the file format you want to export.

Rendering video takes a very long period of time.
If you find your PC is overloaded while rendering, try
reducing texture size in Preferences.
