More about CrazyTalk and iClone Facial Expression

There are two issues that you must know about the CrazyTalk and iClone facial expression.

Teeth position

  • In CT, the teeth position follows both the Face and Lips keys.

  • In iClone, the teeth position follows only the Lips keys.

  • For example, both "Surprise_4"(a Face key) and "Oh" (a Lips key) open the teeth in CT and the result is accumulated. But in iClone, only "Oh" open the teeth.

    Apply both "Suprise_4" and "Oh" keys

    Decay of the "Lips" key - keep mouth open in iClone

  • Only the Lips key will decay in iClone and sustain in CT while the Face key can sustain in both program.

  • To keep the mouth open in iClone, only one Face key is needed.

  • But if user wants to do it with Lips keys, setting 2 keys will do. The mouth shape will be kept during the interval between the 2 Lips keys.
