Move Attribute

When you have a move command selected, the command type and the selected command name will shown on the top left of the "Attribute" section.

When you have selected one of the move commands, the available attributes for the selected move command shows below. Adjust each of the settings to set the selected move command.

  • PriorityMode: This sets the priorities of the switch modes; whether the animation or the transform becomes the first priorities to play first. When Animation is set for this command, this ensures that the animation clip needs to finish its cycle before it switches onto the next move state. This may prevent the foot sliding of the character.

Animation When the character reaches to the target position, for the character to stop it needs to finish the motion clip first.
Transform The character moves to the target position then stops moving and then triggers the motion clip.
  • DefaultTransition: The default transition between the two move keys for it to blending in nicely.

  • Lock: This prevents other channels from interrupting while one of the commands is in progress. This command only activates in "Director Mode".

Lock Move When this is active, this does not allow other move commands to interrupt.
Lock Operate When this is active, this does not allow other operate commands to interrupt while move is in progress.
Lock Perform When this is active, this does not allow other perform commands to interrupt while move is in progress.
  • Right Menu: When this is checked you defines if the command name should appear in the right-click menu in iClone3.

  • ModeID: The corresponding ModeID to the selected command. This is only effective in Director Mode. In Director Mode, each of the iObjects have it's own Move Mode. When you use the hotkey (WASD), only the corresponding ModeID and Move Mode will move. When you use Z (Previous Move Mode) and X (Next Move Mode) to switch between the modes. If there is no corresponding Move Command's ModeID. Then the mode will skip until it runs to the last mode and then go back to the first.

Note: When you are in director mode you can use the mouse to proceed. Click - Walk; Double-click - Run.

  • Max Speed: Sets the maximum move speed (cm/sec). When you accelerate to the maximum speed it runs in a steady speed.

  • Accelerate: Other than when you are decelerating. When the speed is smaller than the MaxSpeed, it continues to stay in the accelerate status and continues on to reach the maximum speed.

  • Decelerate: When an object is nearly to the target point, it returns to the acceleration mode and steadily decelerate until it reaches to 0 to the target point.

  • RotSpeed: The rotation speed (degree/sec) to the selected object.

  • InitRotSpeed: The starting rotation speed. This is only effective in Editor Mode.

  • SpeedAffectAngle: When the object is on an angled terrain will the speed be effected by the degree of angle.
