Link Clip

When a link clip is selected, the type of clip and the selected clip name will be shown on the top left of the "Attribute" section.

         

When you have selected one of the link clips, the available attributes for the selected link clip shows below. Adjust each of the settings to set the parameter for the selected link clip.

  • Target Type: This sets the type of who will trigger the parent type (iProp).
Character The target character will be affected by this animation clip.
Object The target object with embedded animation clip. This prop will then be defined as interactive prop, iProp.
Rider The character who is riding on the motorcycle or driving the car will be affected with this motion.
Owner The character who has linked to an iProp.
  • Target Node: This "$" defines the object itself. If there is a child attached to the parent, it will be defined as $ sign followed by ".child". So it will look like this "$.child".
  • ParentType: Sets the on/off switch for the selected particle clip.
Character The target character will be affected by this animation clip.
Object The target object with embedded animation clip. This prop will then be defined as interactive prop, iProp.
Rider The character who is riding on the motorcycle or driving the car will be affected with this motion.
Owner The character who has linked to an iProp.
  • ParentTransform: Sets how you are linked to the parent node.
Normal When you are linked, the target node's position will not change.
Align When you are linked, the target node's position is aligned to parent node's position, but the angle will remain the same.
Snap When you are linked, the target node's position and angle both aligned to the parent node.
  • ParentNode: The setting to how the target node will align to the parent node.

  • Rotate: This sets the rotation offset on each X, Y, Z.

RotationX When link is in progress, it offsets the X axis rotation. This corrects the X axis rotation.
RotationY When link is in progress, it offsets the Y axis rotation. This corrects the Y axis rotation.
RotationZ When link is in progress, it offsets the Z axis rotation. This corrects the Z axis rotation.
  • Offset: This sets the move offset on each X, Y, Z.

OffsetX When link is in progress, it offsets the X axis on translate. This corrects the X axis rotation.
OffsetY When link is in progress, it offsets the Y axis on translate. This corrects the Y axis rotation.
OffsetZ When link is in progress, it offsets the Z axis on translate. This corrects the Z axis rotation.
