Exporting Props or Characters

1. Click the Export (Ctrl + E) button in the Tool Bar.

   Export panel for props.	Export panel for characters (for Pro only).

2. In the Export iClone Content dialog box, type in the file name.
3. Refer to the Export Options section for more information about how to set these options.
4. Refer to the Export Type section for more information about how to set these options.
5. In the Destination section, select from the iClone Version drop-down list to determine the root folder of the custom folder where you want to export the model.
   You may also manually change the destination folders (described below) for storing the model or motions of the model.
6. Click the OK button to export the model as a prop or as a character.

Destination Folder

• Select the iClone Content Folder radio button for Model and Motion to convert the model into the default custom folder:
  Motions (Enabled only when you have generated human motion clips and the Animation in the Export Type section is activated):
  • Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 5 Custom\Motion\[Custom Name]\
  • Windows 7 or Above - C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 5 Custom\Motion\[Custom Name]\
  Character:
  • Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 5 Custom\Character\
  • Windows 7 or Above - C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 5 Custom\Character\
  Prop:
  • Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 5 Custom\Prop\
  • Windows 7 or Above - C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 5 Custom\Prop\

• Choose the Custom Folder radio button and click the Browse... button to convert the model into your desired folder.

• Click the button to set the Custom Folder path to the iClone Content Folder, by default, in:

  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone 5 Template\iClone Template\

  You may then create new folders in it to build your own custom avatars or props library.
