In addition to convert single human motion, you are also able to use batch motion conversion to convert multiple human motions via 3DXchange. After the conversion, the motions can be applied to any standard or non-standard character in iClone.
This feature is suitable for converting human motion files you have created in other 3D tools or downloaded from web sites.

Supported File Format |
.BVH .FBX (with human motions) |
Before converting multiple human motions, you first need to set the environment to one that is able to load motions.
- To prepare motion files, please make sure that:
- The motions are in the same format (*.BVH, *.FBX).
- The files are identical in structure and can be exported from the same 3D tools.
- Press Ctrl + N to open a new project.
- Load one of the motion files into the 3D viewer. Because the motion file contains no character meshes or bones, 3DXchange will automatically generate stick-shaped meshes for better viewing.
- 3DXchange generates a stick man for you to observe the motion. The motion file will be put into the Motion Library.
Once the environment is set, you may start to load multiple human motion files into the Motion Library of 3DXchange.
After loading the desired motions, you must add them to the Perform List as 3DXchange can only export the motions according to the Perform List status and not as the motions in the Motion Library.
(The Apply to iClone button in the Motion Library section merely applies the highlighted motion to the selected character in iClone instead of exporting it as a single motion file)
