Half-disappeared object?

Downloading models from 3D Warehouse in 3DXchange is very convenient, but some models are created by the mirror feature in SketchUp, which may be half-disappeared in 3DXchange sometimes.

  1. Select the disappeared parts of the model in 3DXchange.

  2. In the “Node Attribute” section, check the “Flip” box.

Sometimes, this may solve most of problems. If not so, please follow the steps:

  1. Select File/Edit in SketchUp.

  2. In SketchUp, right click on the whole model and select Edit/Explode.

  3. Try to find all the groups (meshes in groups may be marked in a blue box) and explode them repeatedly.

  4. Select related meshes and group them manually. Save as SKP file.

  5. Press F5 in 3DXchange again.
