Basic steps – Selecting an image

The Select Image screen enables you to select an image for editing. Follow these instructions to select an image.

  1. Click to open an image. The Open dialog box appears.



    Browse and locate the file that you want to edit.
    Alternatively, locate the desired image in any File Manager application and drag to the FaceFilter Studio window. You can also use the button or press Ctrl+V on the keyboard to paste an image from the clipboard into the FaceFilter Studio window for editing.

  1. Click or to rotate the image counterclockwise or clockwise one-quarter turn.

  1. Click to adjust the color levels. The color dialog opens.

Click and drag the sliders to adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation. Click to save the changes to your image.

  1. Alternatively, click the button to adjust the image color levels automatically.

  2. Click the button to modify the color balance settings of the image. The color adjustments dialog opens.

Drag the sliders to adjust the  Cyan - Red, Magenta - Green, and Yellow -Blue levels. The box next to each of the respective properties shows positive or negative values, depending on the position of the slider, centre being zero. Click Highlights to apply these color settings to create brighter areas. Click Midtones to apply these color settings to the entire image with average intensity. Click shadows to apply these color settings to create darker areas in the image. Apply, Cancel or Reset the changes made in the image properties by clicking the corresponding buttons.

  1. Click and click and drag on the image to select the face. Click on a corner of the dotted box and rotate it to align with the face. Click an edge or corner of the box and drag to scale the picture.

  1. If the face you want to modify is too small or hard to select, click to zoom in on the image. Click to zoom out.
