During installation I am asked
for a product serial number, I don't have one
You do not require a product serial number to run the trial version
of our software. When installing any Reallusion products if you
enter the words 'trial version' as the serial number the software
will install with some features restricted. If you wish to purchase,
visit our online store at: http://www.reallusion.com/purchase.asp

During installation "error:
RPC.STUB incompatible, install will now terminate"
This appears to be a common problem caused by Microsoft releasing
a new dll that is not compatible with Win98. Some developers have
made an installer which includes this dll, thereby destroying your
system. Here is a fix:
Download: http://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/Patch/1.0/WIN98/EN-US/mcrepair.EXE
Then run it, and when it prompts you to overwrite newer files,
make sure you click YES for each file (not "No" or
"No to all"). This will replace all of the 3.50 DLLs from XP with
older versions compatible with Windows 98 (2.40.4515).
This patch works for Win98 users.

Fitting the facial mask is
hard as my image is small. How can I make it easier?
In step 1 use the bounding tool to highlight just the face region.
In subsequent steps the selected region will resize to fit the window.
This will make applying the facial mask easier as well as providing
better results.

When
applying an expression, the changes seem incorrect?
A poorly or incorrectly fitted mask will not give the best results:
- Ensure that the face region selected with the bounding tool
is straight, rotate if required.
- Ensure that each of the nodes on the facial mask are applied
accurately.

Can
I apply multiple expressions to the same image?
Yes. Using the Keep Results button, changes to an image can
be applied to the original image allowing you to add another expression.
[Top]
Why
do previous manual adjustments disappear when adding a new expression?
When you select any new expression from the expression gallery,
your previous expression or adjustment will be overwritten by new
selected expression. If you wish to add a new expression on your
previously edited face image, click on Keep Result button before
you click on a new expression template. All changes to the image
will then be retained and accumulated on the image.

Can
I Undo to the status before applying Keep Result?
No. After applying Keep Results, all previous adjustments
and selected expressions will be applied to the original image and
cannot be undone.

What should I do
if my face is blurred after using the Smooth Skin Filter?
Use the Restore tool to restore the image to its previous
state. Drag the mouse over the facial areas such as eyebrows, eyes,
mouth, or the nose edge to remove the blurring as required.

Why do I not see
any changes when I apply any skin filters?
Edit Facial Mask before you apply any skin filters. Make
sure the facial mask has well covered the selected facial area where
the skin filter will be applied. Specific gloss areas such as, cheeks,
forehead, or nose may require increasing the mask opacity for better
result. You can increase the mask region by manually editing the
facial mask.
You can also remove the regions such as hair, mouth, or eyes that
you don't want to be affected by the skin filters.

the shadow or gloss area on my face?

the eyedropper to sample a color in the image and use it as the
filter color. To remove glossy areas, select a darker skin color.
To remove shadows or dark areas on the face, select a bright skin
color.
