iClone BackStage

Reallusion opens a fresh 3D content vault with an all access experience to try content interactively inside 3D scenes before you buy. iClone BackStage Service allows users of iClone 3 PRO, Standard and even the EX freeware version to surf, download and insert a complete trial version of the content into their movie scenes.

iClone users can easily enter the service from the top-right button inside the program (iClone 3.1 or above). Simply sign-in to the BackStage service and charge your account with points (USD 1 = 100 points) which you can trade-in for full access to unlock the downloaded trial content. Every registered members of iClone full editions can get 500 points.

What is a Direct Access Point?!
We’re glad you asked! A Direct Access Point, or DA Point for short, is just like electronic money that you can use to buy or activate all the content found on the BackStage.


Here's how it works:
1.	Sign-up for iClone BackStage.
2.	Launch iClone BackStage and browse over 1,000 3D models, characters and motions.
3.	Select models or motions to download to your iClone library.
4.	Inside iClone, audition any of the downloaded files into your scenes.
5.	Like what you see? Just right click ‘Get it’ on the thumbnail and use your points to buy the model.

The content store evolves into BackStage where you can download content on-demand and try it inside your movies. The BackStage beta invites you to try these content types:

	Complete Digital Rights Management (DRM) system opens the possibilities to instantly download and experience content before you purchase. Keep track of purchases and manage items with the Online Inventory manager.


	Launch the downloads from your Download List and directly place them into any iClone project for audition. Like it? Get it! Simply right-click the downloaded content thumbnails in your iClone library and select "purchase", to activate the full version.


	Content created and submitted by iClone users will be readied for launch in the 2nd phase of the iClone BackStage project. CCD members who wish to join the BackStage will be asked to enroll into the new marketplace and provide permission for their content to be displayed and sold there. The 'trial' function in BackStage will cover Motions and Avatar texture files.
