The followings are the installation steps you can refer to
with any incomprehension during your installation process. The
steps can also help you to quickly start your video call using
CrazyTalk for Skype Media Edition. For more details, Check Online
Help.
How
to Install?
Click Tools on the Skype top menu,
then click Do More to see the CrazyTalk program item.
If you cannot find CrazyTalk, click Get Extras
to launch Extras Manager. You will find CrazyTalk in
Personalise category.
Click CrazyTalk will initiate the download and installation
process.
After program is downloaded, check the Accept checkbox
in the license declaration box. Then click Yes.
The installer will automatically start to install the CrazyTalk
for Skype program.
After the installation process is finished, CrazyTalk for
Skype will be launched for you.
When you launch CrazyTalk for Skype, there
will be an automatic prompt out with upgrade information.
The current program downloaded from Skype
"Do More" is an earlier version without the enhanced Media
Sharing functions. To enrich your daily communication, please
Upgrade.
How
to Use Live Avatar?
To toggle between the avatar video and web camera mode
for the interface, click Web Camera tab to see the
original camera video or click Avatar Video tab to see the
avatar video.
Click one emotion item to preview the avatar video. You
can also initiate a video call, and see the avatar video
display in Skype video window.
Click to select an emotion from Emotions.
Emotions offers a wide range of emotive expressions such
as happy, sad, surprised, scared, angry, and crying. Click
to apply an emotion to your avatar along with the sound
effect. If you are having a videoconference, the lip-sync
and emotive animation are both visible to your conferencing
partner.
Click to select anavatar from Avatars.
You will see your selected avatar appear in the preview
window. Avatars shows the default avatars
provided by CrazyTalk for Skype as well as any imported
avatars. Click to select an avatar and it will be displayed
in the preview window. If you are on a Skype video call,
your partner will be able to see the avatar and the animation,
even if your partner does not have CrazyTalk for Skype installed.
Plug in a microphone and your avatar can lip-sync whatever
you say instantly.
You are now ready to use a wide range of
animated expressions along with your video avatar on Skype.
Now select a friend in your contact list
in Skype and give him/her a video messaging.

How
to Share Media or Desktop?
Click Media from the top menu of CrazyTalk
for Skype Media Edition to start media functions. To toggle
between the media sharing mode and desktop sharing mode
for the interface, click Media Sharing
tab to share media files or Desktop Sharing
tab to share desktop to the receptors.
In the Media Sharing, click the folder to select shared files.
Click the filter button to filter displayed files
by media format, such as Video or Image.
Press play button to
start media sharing or simply double click a file for single
media share.
For initializing a photo slideshow, select
the image files you want to share and press play button
You can change the pace of your slideshow by setting the delay
time (in second) per slide in the Media
tab of Settings .
For image and video files, you can drag and
drop files to the shared block for fast file sharing.
For fast music sharing, you can drag and
drop music files to and simply press
play button to loop a single or multiple
media files.
Use playback progress to control the
media and loop button to
loop a single or multiple media files.
In the Desktop Sharing mode,
click one of the buttons to choose the screen
size that you are going to share.
The stop button can stop the capture
process.
Set up the captured screen quality by adjusting the Resolution and Frame Rate or you can also just check Auto for smart auto settings for resolution and frame rate.
For quick screen capture, you can use hotkeys:
Win + Z to capture region
Win + X to capture window
Win + C for full screen capture
Win +V to repeat capture
Win + S to stop capture
Also, you can start screen capturing by means of the tray menu.
