I have
checked off "Do not allow this program to use Skype" in Skype
Message Box and cannot use CrazyTalk for Skype. |
If the program shows the message when
you launch CrazyTalk for Skype:

This means you have selected "Do not allow this program to use
Skype" when you launch CrazyTalk for Skype. Thus CrazyTalk
for Skype and Skype are not linked and the program will close.

To reset it, please follow the steps below:
1. In the Menu Bar of Skype, Click Tools > Options.

2. In the popup dialog, click " Advanced " on the left and select
"Updates".
3. Click "Manage other program's access to Skype".

4. Choose "CT4Skype.exe". Click "Change".

5. In Skype Message Box, choose "Allow this program to use Skype".
Then click OK.

6. Press "Save".
7. Open CrazyTalk for Skype program.

I have
no video on the screen after running CrazyTalk for Skype. |
You can check the following aspects:
Check
whether your Skype version is 3.0. The video function is only available
with Skype 3.0 or above.
Check
whether the Operating System is Windows XP. Skype video function
is for Windows XP only.
From
the Skype Menu Bar, click Tools > Options. In the popup dialog,
click Video and make sure "Enable Skype Video" is checked.
In
the same location, check "Start my video automatically when I'm
in a call".

|
3)
I have got sound feedback.
This usually happens when your microphone is positioned too closely
to the speaker. You can avoid this by clicking off the microphone
when audio is playing. To do so, double-click on "Volume Control"
button at the lower right corner of your monitor screen. Click Options
> Properties in the popup window. In "Show the Following Volume
Controls", unclick "Microphone".

|
4)
I have adjusted the mixer setting but the changes are not being
reflected immediately on my side.
The sound from your microphone does not transfer to your speaker;
Therefore, the mixer setting will not be reflected on your side.
However, the adjustment will definitely take effect on the other
side of the conversation.

What is the best setting for Desktop Sharing?
According to the real-time video base sharing, your internet bandwidth
and computer CPU resource are necessary to be taken into account.
We strongly recommend you to check the "Auto" checkbox, and the
resolution and frame rate will be set automatically on account of
the size you share.
The default settings are:
| Media |
Size |
Frame Rate |
| Photo |
800 x 600 |
1 |
| Video |
320 x 240 |
15 |
| Desktop |
Based on user’s captured area; Best 1:1 match |
|
If you have better CPU loading and more bandwidth, you can increase
the frame rate by clicking the "Frame Rate" setting button
to increase frame rate value, the same to the Resolution setting.

|
7)
How to share a great number of photos with a slideshow?

the settings , click the Media tab,
and you can set up the delay time per slide. After that, select the
photos you want to share with your friends by clicking "select files"
button and choose the images
files. Remember to click the "Loop" button and then

Sometimes
while using CrazyTalk for Skype for videoconferencing, my partner
cannot catch the video window. What may be the cause and what
is the solution? |
|
This is due to the resolution of the shared video that has been
modified by you. We recommend the receptor to stop and restart the
video, and the full screen mode should be disabled. The problem
should be solved while reopening the video window.
