Changing Animations in One Voice Clip

You may assign different motion patterns within a single voice clip to enrich expression changes inside the performance. Some clip editing tasks can help achieve this goal in CrazyTalk Pro.

Lesson Target

Click to see the sample audio clip first, and refer to the following steps to unfold the actor's talent in his second singing try.

Breaking a Single Clip into Multiple Clips

Split the full voice clip into separate segments, then apply different auto motions to each clip according to the needs of each scenario. In the sample project, the actor gets encouraged and gradually unfolds his talent during the second singing.

  1. Add another singing audio clip as you have done in the Lesson 6-3.
  2. Press the space bar to playback and pause where you wish to change the animation.
    Note:
You may optionally drag the two flags (red triangles) to the start and end time frames of the target clip to determine the range for playback.
  3. Right-click on the clip and select Break (Shortcut: Windows - Alt + B; Mac - ⌥ + B).
  4. The clip will then be divided into two parts. Apply the desired auto motion template from the Content Manager library and/or double-click to fine-tune the auto motion for each part.
  5. Repeat the steps above to split the clip into as many segments as you need. You may optionally right-click to rename each clip if necessary.
  6. Playback to view the animation changes during the singing performance.
