Create an Actor
In this lesson, create an actor for your project.
Apply Actor from Library

CrazyTalk provides embedded models for you to quickly start a project.

Switch the Content Manager to the Actor tab.

Double-click on the 01_Model folder to drag and drop a desired template from the library.

Click the Play | Pause
button on the playbar (Space bar) to view the actor in default idle motion.

Create a Custom Actor

To create a talking model with a live image, first feed an image to the CrazyTalk Wizard.

Click the Create New Actor
button on the tool bar. Then click the Import Image button to load a desired image.
Optionally, you may click the Camera button to obtain an image from the web camera.

Drag and drop a desired image into the working area.

The CrazyTalk Wizard auto-starts and directs you to finish the following details step by step.
Note:

Make sure that your actor face in the image is looking straight, not head-tilted or wearing glasses.
A full face with mouth closed as well as clean hair outlines will give better animation results in CrazyTalk.
